Spring-through-Summer 2023 Application Form

Please fill out the application below, which requires personal and academic information, detail on extracurricular activities, and both short and long essays. All steps must be completed in order for your application to be reviewed. You may save and edit your application at any time.

Please note that you are strongly encouraged to attend an information session prior to applying. These sessions provide a full understanding of the Pioneer Research Program, including important suggestions for a successful application. Attendance indicates to the admissions team that you have a clear understanding of the application process and the expectations of participants in the program.

In certain cases, additional information may be requested after you submit your application.

Reminder: The Spring-through-Summer term application and Summer term application are separate. If you begin a Spring-through-Summer term application and decide that you would rather apply for the Summer term, you will need to begin a new application. You can find the Summer term application here: Summer Term Application

Have you attended an information session (whether online or at school)?

We strongly encourage you to attend an information session to better understand the program, learn how to prepare a successful application, and earn a priority deadline that will guarantee your application is reviewed while each of your selected research areas still has openings.

Information sessions are conducted every weekend via video conferencing and are about 50 minutes long. An internet connection for your computer or mobile device is required. With more students applying every term and concentrations limited to only three to six scholars, attending an information session will give you an edge in the admissions process if you decide to apply.

We suggest that you participate in an online information session prior to applying. You can register on the Admissions page of our website.

Have you previously applied to the Pioneer Research Program?
